When

What brings you friendship.
When there’s no peace?
What brings you happiness,
When you need everything?
What will you do,
When you lose everything else?
What will you do,
When you have less and less…

This cycle of fear,
When will it ever end?

(btw I’m not depressed or anything I wrote this two years ago)

Spill the Beans

I went over to my best friend’s house on the middle of the night,
My mama found out and started to pout,
Saying, “Spill the beans, or else we’ll have a fight!”
So that’s what I did, all over the table, just that Saturday night.
Why won’t anyone pass me the beans anymore?

Who would dare?

Who would dare to ride the fastest horse?
I would!
Who would dare to make their own type of Morse?
I could!
Who would dare to toilet paper the neighbor’s house in the middle of the night?
Hehehe…I might…

Nope…

I didn’t do it
No, not me.
I was….cleaning windows,
As you can plainly see.
It was obviously Tabetha,
Are you blind?
But if I did do it,
Would you mind?

The Dog

The dog I know is the color grey,
With hints of brown and yellow,
If you leave him alone,
He’ll turn really mellow.

He’s a cute little dog,
He has many doggy friends,
They roll together in the grass,
Until the day ends.

He’ll lick you and pounce,
And cuddle on your lap,
And he makes you rub his tummy,
Once you do he’ll take a nap.

When I Write

Who I write this poem to,
I write it especially for you,
In hopes that you will eventually,
Write one back to me.

4 Spring Haiku

Spring is coming soon,

I can feel it in the air,

Flowers are blooming.

Rabbits are jumping,

The Easter Bunny is here,

Find some hidden eggs.

Ponds are defrosting,

You can hear lots of frogs croak,

Now that spring is here.

Go see the roses,

Go see the cherry blossoms,

Now the grass is green.

Mealworms

Guess what’s buried beneath the soil?

Mealworms.

Guess what tastes good boiled?

Mealworms.

Icky things, most people would say,

But my opinion is,

They save the day!

Ahh, mealworms.

Guess what you learn in science class?

Mealworms.

Guess what under the room where you play bass?

Mealworms.

Slimy, they say, but that’s not right!

The real answer is,

Scaley, no fight!

Ahh, mealworms

Playing Outside

On one summer day,

Go outside and play!

It is very good for you,

You get vitamin D, its true.

From the ground to the air,

Swinging’s fun, but don’t forget to share!

Whenever out the door you run,

To the playground to have fun,

Remember you get healthy from the sun!

Jewels

Gems, as beautiful as they can be,

Blue, and red, and green of the sea.

Watch out for plastic though,

Those can make great imitations.

One way to tell them apart,

Is that they glow green when you fart.

The gems, I mean.

And if you are keen,

To find real ones, I mean,

Start mining!
